VILLE PLATTE, La. (KLFY) -- The Ville Platte Police Department is asking for help finding a 16-year-old Mamou boy who has been missing since Dec. 7, one week before he was reported missing.
In an updated news release, Chief A. Perry Thomas said Dajavon Wilson was reported missing by his family on Saturday, Dec. 14. However, it was later learned that Wilson had actually been missing since Dec. 7 but was not reported missing until a week later, Thomas said.
Wilson's disappearance remains under investigation.
