'Dumb': Republican melts down on Fox News as Biden sells off unused border wall parts

0

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) became the latest MAGA lawmaker to call out President Joe Biden after reports surfaced that the administration sold off unused parts of the U.S.-Mexico border wall.

“Let’s just add one more dumb thing that this administration has done – and remember this is all intentional, particularly when it comes to the border,” Jordan told Fox Business’ Larry Kudlow on Monday.

The staunch ally of Donald Trump seized the moment to pile on the Biden administration hours after Trump himself criticized Biden – and threatened legal action – for auctioning off the wall parts. The border wall remains one of the incoming president's signature policies.

“So, they want an open border policy and now this is almost adding insult to injury. ‘Oh, by the way, we’re going to sell parts of the wall here,' sections of the wall for – as President Trump said – next to nothing,” Jordan said. “Again, just one more example of how bad this administration [is].”

Jordan’s comments came after Kudlow called the Biden administration’s actions “cheap and dumb.”

Jordan added: “The good news is in 30 some days, President Trump will be taking the oath of office and be the President of the United States.”

"Somebody asked me a few months back…they said, ‘Congressman is there anything good you can say about the Biden Administration?” Jordan told Kudlow. “And I tried to be fair, I actually stopped and I thought about it for a second and I said, ‘No I can’t think of anything – record inflation, a wide open border, the debacle that was the exit of Afghanistan,’ and on and on it goes.”

The National Defense Authorization Act, passed by Congress last year, mandates the Biden administration to dispose of unused border wall materials, according to Newsweek.
