MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Nearly 1,000 people may have died after Cyclone Chido hit the French archipelago of Mayotte in the Indian Ocean, located between Madagascar and the coast of Mozambique, Mayotte Prefect Francois-Xavier Bieuville said.
