Will FBI: International's Jesse Lee Soffer Ever Return to 'Chicago P.D.'? Here's His Response

Chicago P.D. alum Jesse Lee Soffer currently stars on the CBS TV show hit FBI: International.

If you don’t know, Jesse exited the One Chicago universe back in October of 2022 after masterfully portraying Intelligence Unit member Jay Halstead.

We know that the FBI shows and the One Chicago dramas actually share a universe after Chicago P.D.‘s Tracy Spiridakos portrayed her PD character Hailey Upton on FBI in a guest starring stint in October 2020.

Now, Jesse Lee was asked if he’d ever be able to make a guest appearance on Chicago PD now that he portrays 2 different characters within the same universe.

He told TV Line when asked, “You know, that’s a really smart question. I didn’t ask, but I imagine that [my FBI: International role] doesn’t preclude that. I would hope that it doesn’t, because, obviously, Wolf is such a huge production company with so many shows, and I feel very fortunate to get to play two main characters on two of those shows. So never say never!”
