Sambhal temple: Administration writes to ASI for carbon dating, steps up security at site

The Sambhal district administration has reopened the Bhasma Shankar temple, locked since 1978 following communal riots. ASI has been contacted for carbon dating of the temple and a newly discovered well. Security measures, including CCTV cameras and PAC personnel, are in place. Worshippers have begun returning to the temple.
