Carl Albert and Elgin Win Final Football State Titles for 2024

The final two high school football state championship games for 2024 were played on Saturday in Edmond.

In Class 5A, Carl Albert beat Guthrie 30-6 to win their third straight state title, 8th in the last 9 years, and 19th in school history, tying the mark held by Ada for the most in the state's history.

Elgin won the Class 4A title with a 29-22 win over Tuttle for their first state title in football.
