The upcoming Women’s T20 League in 2025 is stirring excitement as teams gear up for a mini-auction to bolster their ranks. The Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, RCB, and Delhi Capitals each have room for four new players. On the other hand, UP Warriorz is only looking to add three more to their team.

There’s a palpable buzz of excitement around the upcoming Women’s T20 League in 2025. Teams are gearing up for a mini-auction, hoping to bolster their line-ups with new talent. Watch out for teams like the Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, RCB, and Delhi Capitals, each of which is planning to bring on board four fresh faces. Meanwhile, the UP Warriorz is also on the move, setting its sights on adding three impactful players to their brigade.

Ahead of the anticipated event, RCB has strategically secured Danni Wyatt from the UP Warriorz. Going into the auction, they are armed with a budget of Rs 3.25 Crore.

The team has decided to let go of the Australian star, Laura Harris. In addition to her, Indian players Ashwani Kumari, Poonam Yadav, and Aparna Mondal have also been released from the team.

Going into the auction, the UP Warriorz boast the second-highest budget among all teams, totalling a hefty Rs 3.9 Crore. They’ve made some strategic shifts, one of which is sending English sportswoman Wyatt over to RCB, while also bidding farewell to her compatriot, Lauren Bell.

The UP Warriorz have made some significant team changes by letting go of Indian athletes Laxmi Yadav, Parshavi Chopra, and S. Yashasri, as they strategize to get into the limelight.

The Gujarat Giants are entering the auction with the highest budget this year. They’ve amassed a substantial fund of Rs 4.4 Crores for the player auction, following their decision to let go of New Zealand player, Lea Tahuhu, and Kathryn Bryce from Scotland.

The team has decided to let go of Indian all-rounder Sneh Rana. Additionally, Trisha Poojitha, Veda Krishnamurthy, and Tarannum Pathan have also been given their release notices.
