Ex-Brazil midfielder Renato to retire in 2025

RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Former Brazil international midfielder Renato Augusto said Saturday that he is likely to retire when his contract with Fluminense expires next December.

The 36-year-old said that he hoped to win silverware with the Rio de Janeiro club next year after a disappointing 2024.

"I will stay at Fluminense in 2025, which will probably be the last year of my career," Renato said
