New Delhi: The third season of the Women’s Premier League Auction is scheduled to be held in Bengaluru. This event is regarded as a mini-auction. It will be a tactical gathering with just 19 available spots, five of which are allocated for international players. The 22-match competition will occur from February to March. The current champions are Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Team Preparations:
Gujarat Giants stand out as the most financially capable team, holding a significant budget of INR 4.4 crore and seeking to fill four positions, including two designated for international players. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals, who finished as runners-up in the first two seasons, will work with the smallest budget of INR 2.5 crore, aiming to fill four spots with only one reserved for an overseas player.

When and where will be WPL 2025 Auction held?
The WPL Auction 2025 is set for Sunday, December 15th, starting at 3:00 PM IST in Bengaluru. A total of 120 players will be available in one pool, including 91 Indian cricketers and 29 foreign players. This mini-auction comes after the retention choices made by the teams on November 7, where the majority of squads kept their core players intact.
