Man killed after being hit by vehicle in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Ohio (WCMH) -- A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle Friday night in the 1600 block of East Main Street in Lancaster.

Police say the man was found unresponsive in the road when officers arrived just before 8 p.m. The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not yet released the man's identity.
