A's acquire LHP Jeffrey Springs from Rays

The A's acquired left-hander Jeffrey Springs from the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday.

The A's also picked up southpaw Jacob Lopez in the deal in exchange for right-hander Joe Boyle, minor-league first baseman/outfielder Will Simpson, minor-league right-hander Jacob Watters and a 2025 competitive balance round A draft pick.
