Dependence on traditional fuels would be 30% by the time India turns 100: Hardeep Puri

New Delhi [India], December 13 (ANI): India's dependence on traditional fossil fuel-based energy will reduce to 30 per cent by the time the country celebrates its 100th year of independence, Petroleum and Natural Gas minister Hardeep Puri said on Friday.

"The transition (to clean fuels) is not a switch which you can on and off. You have to establish fairly expensive infrastructure also to make the transition," Puri said,
