Police find gunshot victim in west Topeka Thursday

TOPEKA (KSNT) - The Topeka Police Department (TPD) is investigating the 21st homicide of the year.

Just before 11:30 on Thursday, Dec. 13, officers responded to a welfare check call in the 2000 block of Southwest Stone for an individual who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Police found an individual who was declared dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
