Think it was inevitable. I think Myers will be a super centre, but we have to look where we are now. He was suspended for first 4 games so would have either had to try fight his way back in the team or wait for injuries to crop up. I'd imagine if he wasn't playing much around May time he would have made a decision not to renew his contract and left for nothing.
