Pineda takes charge of Mexico's Atlas

MEXICO CITY, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- Former Mexico international midfielder Gonzalo Pineda has been appointed manager of Atlas for the 2025 season, the Liga MX club said on Thursday.

The 42-year-old replaces Spaniard Benat San Jose who parted ways with the Guadalajara-based club earlier in the week.
