Delhi colder than Shimla: Temperature in the capital drops to three-year low of 4.5°C

Delhi shivered as temperatures plummeted to a three-year low of 4.5°C. Cold winds from the Himalayas brought cold wave conditions. Some areas recorded even lower temperatures. The city was colder than hill stations like Shimla and Mussoorie. The cold wave is expected to persist for a few days. Temperatures may rise slightly after the weekend.
