“I thought, like, how? Like, I’m finally happy,” she shared in a confessional. “It’s just scary.”
While he did have a 3cm nodule removed, which got rid of the cancer, he still had complications after.
“I feel like we can’t catch a f–king break,” Madison said.
While making pancakes with her son Hudson, Brett had sneezed and she asked him how he was feeling, and specifically how it felt when he swallowed.
“I have to go see a specialist for it,” he responded. “It’s like two stages. I don’t know, so I got to go see an ENT for it and then probably have to do some type of therapy.”
Brett shared it feels “like a marble’s like stuck there… It’s alright. I’m getting used to it.”
Madison also shared that she didn’t share too much with her son.
“I didn’t go into detail about what cancer can do to someone,” she said. “And I try not to let Hudson see me emotional because like, I have to be strong for my family.”
The reality star also noted that trying to have more children with Brett is currently “on pause” amid his health. She has been very open on the show about wanting to have another child, a first with her husband.
Last week, Madison was in New York City with most of her co-stars as they attended a premiere party for Southern Charm‘s new, 10th season.
Madison and Brett were also the first two seen on screen in the season premiere!
