Deputies arrest 10 Louisiana men accused of targeting children on social media platforms

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- Deputies arrested 10 suspects from Louisiana accused of using social media to target children.

The investigation was conducted by the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, Louisiana Bureau of Investigations and other law enforcement agencies.

Sheriff Jason Ard said 10 people on different social media platforms were seeking out underage children in the parish. All suspects were booked into the parish jail.

The sheriff's office said investigations are ongoing and suspects could face additional charges.

"The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office (Internet Crimes Against Children) ICAC Task Force is constantly utilizing ways to combat the dangers of online predators awaiting the children of this parish and the State of Louisiana. You can join us in this fight," Ard said.

Tips can be sent to investigators by calling the sheriff's office at 225-686-2241 or calling the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 703–224–2150.

Listed below are the suspects and the charges they were booked on.

Victor Conrad, 27, of St. Francisville, was charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Andre Montgomery, 56, of New Orleans, was charged with four counts each of indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Jakob Titone, 26, of Maurepas, was charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Alexander Brown, 39, of Church Point, was charged with two counts each of indecent behavior with a juvenile and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Charles Scott, 36, of Morgan City, was charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Joshua Denmon, 34, of Logansport, was charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Marcus Kelly, 44, of Ruston, was charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Landon Lemay, 27, of Plaquemine, was charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Robert Gilbert, 55, of St. Amant, was charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

Julio Cazares, 28, of Plaquemine, was charged with indecent behavior with juveniles and computer-aided solicitation of a minor.
