Portland restaurant named top Thai food delivery spot in U.S., according to DoorDash
PORTLAND Ore. (Portland Tribune) -- Delivery services like DoorDash have made it easy — sometimes too easy — to cave into cravings.
A few taps on the screen, a knock on the door and voila, it's time to eat.
This year, a new awards list was unveiled by DoorDash honoring America's favorite delivery spots of the year categorized by cuisine.
Among the top is Portland-based Khao Moo Dang for its Thai offerings. It claimed the spot as Favorite Delivery Spot for Thai food in the U.S. on DoorDash.
“We’re a local Asian-owned restaurant and it means so much to be included on this list from DoorDash,” Chookiat "Ham" Saenguraiporn, Kanik "Song" Charoendee and Sitthisak "Nuii" Phoonkwan, owners at Khao Moo Dang, said in a statement. “We’re committed to buying produce from local vendors and organizations, and our chefs are driven by the desire to share the cooking of our youth, including our crispy pork belly, rice, five-spice pork loin, and noodles.”
