Does anyone know how he is? I just wanted to acknowledge him and his contribution to the club.
In recent times he has been the only remaining player from the 1956 FA Cup Final team. As some of us can remember that golden era of the mid 1950s.
Born 91 years ago tomorrow December 13th 1933.
He was a tremendous and committed clubman and played in the Cup Final due to an injury to Roy Warhurst (later to run a successful scrap metal business in Brum). He moved on and had a long playing career and many years in football management.
