Critics Choice Film Awards 2025: Wilson Morales, Matt Neglia top all experts predicting movie nominees

Congratulations to our experts Wilson Morales (BlackFilmandTV) and Matt Neglia (Next Best Picture) for an excellent score of 89.23% when predicting the 2025 Critics Choice Awards movie nominations on Thursday morning. They are best among 16 experts, journalists who cover the entertainment industry throughout the year. See experts’ scores.

Over 2,100 fans worldwide predicted these film nominees with our top scorers getting 58 out of 64 nominee slots correct. Both of them got nine of 10 Best Picture nominees but missed on “A Complete Unknown.”

For the other 14 experts predicting, Cole Jaeger (The Oscar Expert) and Mark Johnson (The Contending) are tied at 87.69%. We then have Clayton Davis (Variety), Tariq Khan (Gold Derby), and Christopher Rosen (Gold Derby) tied at 86.15%. Joyce Eng (Gold Derby) is next at 83.08%. Following are Erik Davis (Fandango), Susan King (Gold Derby), Ray Richmond (Gold Derby), and Jazz Tangcay (Variety) at at 81.54%. Thelma Adams (Gold Derby) is next at 80.00%. Finishing at 78.46% is Anne Thompson (Indiewire) and then Debra Birnbaum (Gold Derby) at 69.23% and Keith Simanton (IMDb) at 67.69%.
