U18s Face Rangers On Friday
Hibernian FC’s under-18s are looking to continue their good form this Friday as they take on Rangers in the CAS U18 Elite League.
The match will take place on Friday 13 December, 2024; 4pm kick-off at the Rangers Training Centre.
Supporters can attend the game for free and cheer on the wee Hibees!
The Lowdown
Darren McGregor’s youngsters have had an excellent start to the 2024/25 campaign and have a top of the table clash this week!
The Hibees are currently second in the CAS U18 Elite League table, four points behind league leaders Rangers, although our youngsters do have a game in hand.
We come into this weekend’s game off the back of a 3-0 win over Motherwell. Goals from Josh Landers, Logan Jimenez, and Dean Cleland sealed all three points.
Our Opponent
As aforementioned, Rangers’ U18s are currently top of the CAS U18 Elite League with 31 points from 13 games.
They have only lost two matches all season and come into this fixture off the back of a 3-2 win against St Mirren last week.
The young Gers haven’t lost a game since the end of October.
Previous Meeting
The two sides met at the end of August, in what was an entertaining game.
The match finished 2-2, and it was an inspired comeback from Darren McGregor’s side after Dean Cleland bagged a brace in the final 20 minutes.
