12 NCAA Tournament Teams, Three College World Series Participants Highlight Razorbacks’ 2025 Slate
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas head coach Courtney Deifel has announced the complete schedule for the 2025 softball season. The Razorbacks are slated to play 50 total games in the regular season, with 21 being played at home inside the friendly confines at Bogle Park.
Deifel’s squad is scheduled to face 12 teams that advanced to the 2024 NCAA Tournament, including seven Super Regional participants, three College World Series participants, and four-time defending national champion Oklahoma. The 26 opponents on the Razorbacks’ schedule combined to go 862-591 (.593) in 2024.
Arkansas opens the 2025 campaign in San Marcos, Texas, at the Texas State Tournament on Feb. 6-8. The Razorbacks will face tournament host Texas State on Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. in the season opener. After the opener, Arkansas will return the following day to face Lipscomb and Bradley before concluding the tournament slate with Bradley and San Deigo on Feb. 8.
The Razorbacks then head to Ruston, La., for the Louisiana Tech Classic on Feb. 14-16. Arkansas will open the five-game event with Louisiana Tech on Feb. 14 before squaring off against Louisiana-Monroe and Southern Miss on Feb. 15 and Feb. 16.
Following the trip south, the Hogs will head to the prestigious Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic on Feb. 20-22 in Cathedral, Calif., where they will face the likes of Rutgers, Cal State Fullerton, Loyola Marymount, Baylor and UCLA.
The Razorbacks’ first action at Bogle Park will occur when they host the Wooo Pig Classic on Feb. 28-March 2. Arkansas will play a game each against Illinois and Iowa on Feb. 28 and March 1 before capping the weekend with Missouri State on March 2.
Arkansas opens SEC play at Ole Miss on March 7-9 before returning to Bogle Park for its first home series in league play against Oklahoma on March 14-16. After hosting the defending national champions, the Hogs will host Central Arkansas followed by a trip to Knoxville, Tenn., to face the Lady Vols on March 22-24 before returning home on March 28-30 when they host Kentucky.
After the home series with Kentucky, the Razorbacks hit the road for a series at Florida on April 4-6, followed by a non-conference matchup at North Florida on April 7, before welcoming South Carolina to Fayetteville on April 11-13.
Arkansas takes a break from SEC action to travel to Central Arkansas on April 15, followed by a series with Colorado State that features a doubleheader on April 18, succeeded by the series finale on April 19.
Conference play resumes with a trip to Texas A&M on April 25-27 before Arkansas concludes the league slate by hosting LSU on May 1-3 inside the friendly confines of Bogle Park.
Following the conclusion of the regular season, Georgia will host the 2025 SEC Tournament on May 6-10 at Jack Turner Softball Stadium.
Remaining game times and television assignments will be announced at a later date.
Arkansas has won two of the last four regular season SEC titles. The Razorbacks are coming off a 37-18 mark in 2024, which featured their seventh-consecutive NCAA Tournament berth in 2024 and fifth national seed, all of which have come under head coach Courtney Deifel’s guidance.
