Delta Passenger Finds Perplexing Item Left by Previous Traveler
Airline carriers are supposed to clean planes between flights, but due to quick turnaround time, the cleaning process typically involves removing trash, wiping down surfaces such as tray tables and seat backs, and sanitizing lavatories. In other words, it's easy to see how crew members missed an egregiously placed item that was discovered by a recent Delta passenger.
The Tampa-based traveler posted the evidence to her TikTok account in a six-second video, writing: "If you recently flew Delta and sat in row 27, you forgot something."
In the clip, which was filmed in the emergency row of the flight, the camera films the seat in front of the user for a few seconds before panning to the interior wall of the cabin next to her armrest. Lo and behold, there were a pair of (presumably) used eyelash strips stuck there.

Within three days, the post has amassed over 1.2 million views, as people flooded to the comments with jokes. "An angel lost her wings," quipped one user, while another added that it gave a whole new meaning to the phrase "rest my eyes."
As the post began to go viral, several beauty brands also jumped into the fray. "This is a whole new level of unbothered," wrote Sephora, adding a crying emoji. "So that’s where I left them," quipped Ulta Beauty. "Wait those are mine," chimed in Urban Decay. Sally Beauty Supply, on the other hand, empathized with the anonymous traveler, writing: "We’ve all been there..."
In either case, consider this a public service announcement to make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position and take your eyelashes with you when disembarking.
