India-UK free trade pact talks to resume by Jan-end

India and Britain will resume negotiations on a free trade agreement by the end of January, according to an Indian government source. Talks, which have been ongoing with interruptions for two years, were confirmed to restart in the "new year" by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's office last month.
