Camel calf used for joyrides dies, Ramlila Samiti prez & manager booked

A camel calf employed for joyrides at Ghaziabad's Ramlila fair died, prompting an FIR against the Samiti president and fair manager. The Animal Welfare Board of India alleges the calf was overworked, denied sustenance, and lacked medical care. The accused claim the camel was already unwell upon arrival and died unexpectedly, after which they performed its last rites.
