Bombas started by making some of the best socks we've ever tested, but the brand has continued on to become much bigger than socks. They have a massive catalog of high-quality wardrobe basics like T-shirts, underwear, and loungewear. The brand also donates to homeless shelters with every purchase.

Now, the brand is making its first true foray into slippers with the Saturday Slippers and Sunday Slippers. Rather than a sock-like fit on the Grippers Slippers we've tested and loved, both the Saturday Slippers and Sunday Slippers are designed like traditional house slippers with memory foam insoles, full sherpa linings, and rubber insoles. We tested both models out and loved each pair.

Keep reading to find out our detailed thoughts on each pair, along with original photos.

Sally's review of Women's Saturday Slippers

The Saturday Slippers are like the laid-back cousin to the Sunday pair. While the Sunday design has raised backs for a more secure fit, like a clog, the Saturday slippers have a simple open back, like a mule. My feet slide right in, and I really like that they're a bit more breathable thanks to the open back (no one likes having sweaty feet!).

The memory foam insole is pillowy soft, and the rubber outsole is just sturdy enough that you can check your mail outside, though I wouldn't go running errands in these puppies. Unlike many other slippers of this shape that I've tested, these ones don't clack or flop around — they stay secure, even on the stairs. (If you've ever worn a pair of hotel slippers that were far too big for your feet, you know what I mean.) — Sally Kaplan, executive editor, Reviews

Gabi's review of Women's Sunday Slippers

I like Bombas' Sunday Slippers instead of its Saturday Slippers because you can slide into them easily, but they still hold your feet in. The midsole is made of a plush layer of memory foam, which is laid over an EVA footbed so the foam won't collapse the more you wear it. As for their warmth, the faux sherpa feels as cozy as it looks and keeps my feet insulated. They run a bit small, so if you like to lounge in both slippers and socks in wintertime, I recommend going up a size, as I did. — Gabrielle Chase, associate editor, Reviews

Amir's review of Men's Sunday Slippers

My first impression of the Sunday Slippers was how supportive and comfortable they were. Before testing them, I had been wearing a different pair of slippers that didn't have memory foam, and the difference in comfort was night and day.

I also love that the Sunday Slippers have a heel area to keep your foot secure. It's low enough that you can still easily slip your foot in — you won't have to worry about using your hands to shoehorn your way into them.

While the Gripper Slippers have grippy dots on the bottom, the Sunday Slippers have full rubber bottoms, which are more durable and provide better traction.

Bombas Sunday Slippers are only available in full sizes. If you're in between sizes, I'd recommend going up. They'll still fit on your feet comfortably with or without socks. — Amir Ismael, style editor, Reviews

Cons to consider

After testing Bombas' Saturday and Sunday Slippers, we found no downsides to either pair. However, the Saturday Slippers are only available in women's sizing, so if you're looking for an open-back slipper in men's sizing, the lack of availability would be the only downside.

The bottom line

Overall, all three of us enjoyed wearing Bombas' Saturday and Sunday Slippers. They're supportive, cozy, warm, and more durable than the Gripper Slippers, another style we also love.
