Shameless Met cops caught having oral sex in police station lift after boozy night out – being sprung by colleagues
A PAIR of lovebird Met Police officers were caught performing oral sex in a station service lift after a drunken night at the pub.
Trainee Detective Constable Pierce Lynch and Detective Constable Jessica Martin admitted their fling got “very passionate, very quickly” after boozing on a cop night out.
The duo denied gross misconduct at a police hearing this week but accepted engaging in the “spontaneous” ten-second sex act sparked by a kiss at the pub.
Elisabeth Acker, representing the Met, said the incident happened while they were off duty at 9.40pm on November 16, 2022.
Martin and Lynch had been glugging beers for three hours with Met colleagues before returning to Bethnal Green police station, in East London, to pick up their bags.
But the amorous officers were caught red-handed when two other PCs tried to get into the goods lift while Lynch had his pants down.
Ms Acker told their misconduct hearing: “They had been socialising at a public house with colleagues.
“They both accepted that at that point, they were drunk. They were no longer on duty but they had returned to police premises.
”Police Constables Flaherty and Frost-Smith were in front of the doors of the service lift.
“When the doors of the lift opened, they saw TDC Martin and PC Lynch engaging in a sexual act – that sexual activity being oral sex, performed by TDC Martin on TDC Lynch.
The hearing heard both cops who witnessed the lewd act asked the pair “What are you doing?”, before choosing to take the stairs instead.
PC Frost-Smith added: “This is unacceptable, guys”.
The PCs immediately reported what they had seen to a Sergeant, triggering an internal investigation.
Martin, a trainee at the time, claimed she could not remember the between-floors sex act but accepted her role in it.
In a written statement, Lynch, a cop for five years, told police investigators: “When we entered the lift, we both started kissing and things became very passionate very quickly.
“Jess undid my zip, I undid my top button, and she started touching my penis through my boxers.”
The PC claimed he heard footsteps outside the lift and began quickly dressing himself, insisting he was “not erect” at any point.
DC Martin, now on restricted duties at a different police station, also denied their act could have been seen by members of the public.
Asked if she wanted to be interrupted in the act, Martin told the hearing: “Not by anyone.”
PC Lynch also insisted he did not enter the service lift intending to engage in oral sex.
Panel leader Deputy Assistant Commissioner Alexis Boon said: “The panel accepts that at the time of the incident, both officers were off duty having returned to the station, and, after several hours of drinking in a nearby public house, returned to collect their bags.
“The panel finds that neither Martin nor Lynch knew their sexual act could be witnessed by members of the public.
“However the panel finds the two should’ve been aware that the service lift could be used by contractors.
“Consequently, the panel finds that both officers should have known that the sexual activity could have been witnessed by members of the public.”
The panel will rule on Friday whether their actions amounted to gross misconduct.
If found proven, both officers could face the sack.
