EDF chief proposes scaled-down 2026 conscription to enable major reforms

Commander of the Estonian Defense Forces (EDF) Major General Andrus Merilo has proposed dedicating 2026 to the development of active-duty personnel, with the aim of boosting the quality of conscripts going forward.
