Mutual fund SIPs: Flow consistent at Rs 25,000 crore but number of new SIP accounts decline 22%

Monthly mutual fund SIP contributions held steady at Rs 25,320 crore in November, marking the second consecutive month above Rs 25,000 crore. However, new SIP registrations dipped 22% to 49.47 lakh, the lowest in FY25. Despite market volatility, total SIP accounts hit a record 10.22 crore, reflecting continued investor confidence in long-term growth.
