Ponty RFC on Bluesky and Social Media Sponsorship Opportunities

Pontypridd RFC has added the Bluesky social media platform to accompany the Club’s other three social media platforms of X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and Instagram. Bluesky is very much the ‘new kid on the block’ in terms of social media and they recently announced the platform had passed 20 million users worldwide.

As a club, we have nearly 34,000 followers on our other three preexisting platforms combined – over 16k on X (formerly Twitter), nearly 15k on Facebook and nearly 3k on Instagram.

Social media is an essential tool and one that we feel passionately about to help Ponty RFC engage with you, our supporters. The Club aims to bring its followers sporting content relevant to the Team, to promote events and activities along with advertising and promoting the businesses that support Pontypridd RFC by investing in the Club every season.

The near-34k followers that Pontypridd RFC has is the highest amount of all the rugby teams in Wales outside of the four professional regional sides. The reach that the Club has is far and wide and we’d love for businesses to come onboard via some sponsorship opportunities.

The Club is extremely active on its now four platforms and we’d like businesses to come onboard with us sponsoring such content as The Supporters’ Man of the Match, the Matchday Preview, Matchday graphic plus other items that regularly appear on our feeds throughout the week – would your business or company benefit from having its logo on our graphics?
