Driver hospitalized after car falls 100 feet near OHSU

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A driver was hospitalized Friday night after their car fell nearly 100 feet off an embankment near OHSU, officials said.
Just after 10 p.m., Portland Fire & Rescue crews responded to reports of a crash near the area of Southwest Terwilliger Boulevard and Campus Drive.
On arrival, they found a car had gone approximately 100 feet over the embankment off Terwilliger.
Crews used a low-angle rope system to lift the driver up from the embankment, then took the them to the hospital by ambulance.
Officials say the driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
