Woman killed in hit-and-run outside hospital in the Bronx: NYPD
WESTCHESTER SQUARE, The Bronx (PIX11) – A woman was hit by a vehicle and killed outside the Montefiore Westchester Square Campus in the Bronx on Saturday morning, police say.
According to the authorities, the 56-year-old woman was hit by a white tow truck shortly before midnight. The truck driver left the scene, heading in an unknown direction.
The woman was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead, officials report. Police are still investigating how the incident may have happened.
