Bruins-Flyers Projected Lines, Pairings: Boston Makes Minor Changes
The Bruins will look to finish the weekend on a high note before embarking on a massive six-game West Coast road trip.
Boston is coming off a 4-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks, marking the team’s fourth straight win. Joe Sacco won six of his first eight games as interim head coach, and the 55-year-old made a key switch Wednesday that will see more time Saturday.
Brad Marchand and Elias Lindholm moved to the first line with David Pastrnak at practice Friday. The combination provided a spark against Chicago and could be a lethal combination moving forward. Morgan Geekie and Pavel Zacha will move to the second line with Justin Brazeau.
Tyler Johnson and Parker Wotherspoon are expected to be healthy scratches against the Philadelphia Flyers. And Sacco confirmed Friday that Hampus Lindholm remains week-to-week. Jeremy Swayman likely starts in net for Boston.
Puck drop for Bruins-Flyers is scheduled at 1 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN starting with pregame at noon.
