Phone, laptop 'severely compromised', hackers want cryptocurrency: Sam Pitroda's mail to contacts

Congress leader Sam Pitroda's devices and server were hacked, with hackers demanding cryptocurrency and threatening a smear campaign if unpaid. Pitroda warned his contacts not to engage with suspicious communications seemingly from him, as they might contain malware. He plans to upgrade his security upon returning to Chicago.
