Mayoral hopeful Michael Blake discusses vision for NYC

NEW YORK (PIX11) – As we approach 2025, the new year marks a new election cycle.

Political consultant Michael Blake joins PIX on Politics to discuss his decision to join the long list of Democrats competing with Mayor Eric Adams in next year’s mayoral primary.

Blake served in the New York State Assembly from 2015 to 2021. During that time, he also worked as the vice chair of the Democratic National Committee. He also spent time working for the Obama administration. Now, Blake looks to lead the City of New York.

Blake told PIX on Politics host Dan Mannarino that Adams is more interested in a pardon than serving the people.

"Eric Adams has always been a Trump-like Republican," he said.
