WHL roundup: Gould shines as Broncos beat Warriors 3-2
MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Ryan Gould scored two power-play goals and Dawson Gerwing netted the winner as the visiting Swift Current Broncos edged the Moose Jaw Warriors 3-2 in Western Hockey League action on Friday at Moose Jaw Events Centre.
Brady Birnie and Luke Mistelbacher each added two assists for he Broncos (15-11-0-1), who outshot the hosts 39-30.
Riley Thorpe and Rilen Kovacevic scored for the Warriors, who trailed 1-0 after the first period and 3-1 heading into the third.
The Broncos went 2-for-3 on the power play, while the Warriors did not have a power play opportunity.

GIANTS 3 AMERICANS 2 (OT)
KENNEWICK, Wash. — Jaden Lipinski's goal at 4:03 of overtime lifted the visiting Vancouver Giants to a 3-2 win over the Tri-City Americans.
Lipinski tied the game at 2-2 with a goal at 10:36 of the third period. Tyson Zimmer also scored for the Giants (12-10-4-0), who outshot the hosts 38-32.
Gavin Garland scored both goals for the Americans (18-6-2-0).

BRANDON, Man. — Dominik Petr scored twice and added an assist as the Brandon Wheat Kings defeated the visiting Red Deer Rebels 5-1.
Matteo Michels, Caleb Hadland and Quinn Mantei also scored for the Wheat Kings, who outshot the Rebels 32-22.
Hunter Mayo scored for the Rebels, who trailed 3-0 after the first period and 5-0 heading into the third.

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — Niall Crocker's power-play goal at 15:52 of the third period lifted the Prince Albert Raiders to a 4-3 win over the visiting Calgary Hitmen.
