'Harry Potter' TV Show Casting: Every Actor Rumored So Far for HBO's Upcoming Series

HBO will be bringing a Harry Potter television series to the world in 2027 and there are several casting rumors floating around right now.

The network has not yet confirmed any casting rumors, some incredible names are already being floated around for the Hogwarts professors and staff.

A casting call went out for the young actors to play Harry, Ron and Hermione this September. Unknown actors are expected to land those roles!

“We appreciate that such a high-profile series will draw a lot of rumor and speculation. As we make our way through pre-production, we will only confirm details as we finalize deals,” HBO said about casting rumors.

Production on the series is expected to begin in summer 2025 with a premiere for season one in 2027.
