Demi Moore Shares Encouraging Bruce Willis Update
Since Bruce Willis' aphasia diagnosis in 2022 and the progression to frontotemporal dementia last year, Demi Moore and his children have acted as spokespeople for their extended family as they rally around their beloved dad together. In a new interview with CNN, Moore opened up about where her ex-husband is today and how she and their family—including his current wife—are working together to create an ideal home environment.
"Given the givens, he's in a very stable place at the moment," Moore said of Willis' current condition. She went on to explain just how important it is for people dealing with dementia in their families to work with their loved ones in ways they can understand.
"I've shared this before, but I really mean this so sincerely: It's so important for anybody who's dealing with this to really meet them where they're at. And from that place, there is such loving and joy," The Substance star said. "Obviously it’s very difficult and not what I would wish upon anyone, and there is great loss, but there’s also great beauty and gifts that can come out of it."

As for the unique blended family dynamic, Moore doesn't find it strange to be mixing two of his wives and their respective children.
"That has been very important to me even from when Bruce and I separated and divorced [in 2000]," she said. "[It's] the recognition that we're a family and we'll always be a family, just in a different form, and that form may kind of evolve and change. And that there is a way in which we can all be in that form."
"I'm grateful because it's not just me; it has to require everybody to becoming together. And it's lovely," she concluded. "I'm really so grateful."
