ATCEMS: Child seriously injured after being struck by vehicle on East Ben White Blvd.

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A child was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in southeast Austin, Austin-Travis County EMS said on social media.

ATCEMS medics said they responded to the crash around 2:55 p.m. in the 1600 block of East Ben White Boulevard service road westbound.

The child was taken by a vehicle to Dell Children's with "potentially serious injuries," according to ATCEMS.

No other details were released Friday.
