Eatery known for New-York style pizza, desserts relocating to Gahanna
GAHANNA, Ohio (WCMH) – An eatery serving New York-style pizza and homemade cannoli will soon open its doors in Gahanna.
Tony and Enzo’s Pizzeria is relocating from 3205 Maple Ave. in Zanesville to 1259 N. Hamilton Road in Gahanna. The Zanesville restaurant first opened in 2022 and closed on Oct. 27.
“We've loved the Gahanna and New Albany market for years and we've been looking for a location in the area,” said Vincent Russo, president of Russos Wood Fired LLC, the hospitality group that owns Tony and Enzo’s Pizzeria. “It's just a thriving area.”
The eatery is aiming to open its new Gahanna location by the end of the month, according to Russo. Tony and Enzo's is known for its New York-style and Detroit-style pizzas, which are sold as pies or by the slice. The business also serves subs, wings, salad and desserts.
“We have a really good New York-style cheesecake,” Russo said. “We have a homemade cookie that we make the batter in store and bake the cookies in the store. … And then we do homemade cannolis, which is like an Italian cream-filled pastry shell.”
The pizzeria will offer takeout and delivery, offering “very limited” seating intended for those waiting to pick up their order, according to Russo.
“We are a locally owned and operated business,” Russo said. “We're really excited and looking forward to becoming part of the Gahanna community.”
The Gahanna pizzeria will open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with hours extending to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The eatery will be open from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
