Farnsworth Middle School to hold annual domino event

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Farnsworth Middle School in Guilderland announced the return of a great holiday tradition that will help others in need. The cereal box dominos event relies on community members to donate unopened boxes of cereal to the school.

Collection boxes are at the middle school's main entrance. These unopened cereal boxes are used to create an elaborate domino pathway throughout the school on Thursday, December 12 before being donated to the Backpack Program and the Guilderland Food Pantry.

The school's goal is to collect at least 1,000 boxes of cereal for families in need this holiday season. This would break the school's 2023 record for donations.
