State of Kansas to host job fair with more than 500 open positions
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Kansans who are looking for new employment are encouraged to take a look at an upcoming job fair open to all state residents.
KANSASWORKS is holding a virtual job fair from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, according to a press release issued on Dec. 4. Applicants can seek out one or more of the more than 500 agency positions available across the state which range in experience level from entry to associate.
“Our Kansas agencies always are looking to expand their teams with new and experienced professionals,” Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland said. “If you are looking for a place to advance your skills or kick-start your career, I encourage you to participate in our agency job fair and see what opportunities are available.”
State agencies across Kansas are looking for new talent to improve their departments. The virtual job fair will allow people across the state to participate as long as they have access to the internet and are prepared to interview online and chat live.
People interested in taking part in this job fair must register online in advance using this link. The State Agency Virtual Job Fair portal also features helpful information such as a training video for job seekers, a list of participating employers and other useful details. Everyone participating in the fair is encouraged to dress professionally in case an employer requests a video interview.
