'Obnoxious and unreadable': Trump snarls at Wall Street Journal over 'setback' report
On Wednesday morning Donald Trump fell back into one his more enduring habits: attacking the press for how they are covering his actions.
Taking to his Truth Social platform, the president-elect lashed out at the Wall Street Journal for reporting that he suffered a "setback" when his nominee for the DEA, Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister, voluntarily withdrew his name for consideration while stating the job might be more than he could handle.
According to a fuming Trump, Chronister is out because the former president wanted him gone just three days after boasting on Truth Social he was "pleased" to nominate him.

Taking aim at the Wall Street Journal, he wrote, "The Wall Street Journal is becoming more and more obnoxious and unreadable."
"Today’s main headline is: 'Trump’s DEA Pick Pulls Out In Latest Setback.' With all that’s happening in the World, this is their Number One story of the day," he wrote before complaining, "Besides, he didn’t pull out, I pulled him out, because I did not like what he said to my pastors and other supporters. But, more importantly, what’s my 'latest' setback??? I just won the Presidency of the United States!"
"They haven’t written a good story about me in YEARS. Somebody over there ought to look at what they’re doing. The only one worse than them is stupid, China-centric Forbes Magazine!" he ranted.
