Rain chances return today

Not as cold in Acadiana this morning but still very chilly with temperatures in the 40s under a cloudy sky. A few showers/sprinkles are moving through the area too. Widespread showers and storms are likelier this afternoon and evening as rain chances increase to 60% after lunchtime. Severe weather is not expected. Otherwise, the weather stays cloudy and cool with highs back into the mid 60s. Overnight low will stay in the 60s too.

Rainfall should end early Thursday morning. Friday and Saturday are looking mostly quiet followed by widespread rains on Sunday.
