Person struck, killed by subway train in Queens: FDNY
QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A person was fatally struck by a subway train in Queens Wednesday morning, leading to delays on some lines during the early commute, according to officials.
It happened near the Parsons Boulevard subway station around 6:15 a.m., according to the FDNY.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene, fire officials said.
E, F, M and R trains are running with delays in both directions, the MTA said. Manhattan-bound trains were rerouted while emergency teams responded to the person, but they've since resumed making regular stops.
