Massive fire hits warehouses in Giridih, losses amount to Rs 1.5 crore

A massive fire ravaged three warehouses in Bokaro's Bodo area late Tuesday night, causing an estimated Rs 1.5 crore in damages. The fire, suspected to be caused by a short circuit, destroyed two plywood storage facilities, an electrical goods warehouse, vehicles, and merchandise. Firefighters battled the blaze for over nine hours before finally extinguishing it Wednesday morning.
