Cynthia Erivo Dresses Down in Edgy Look With Spiky Louboutin Ankle Boots for SAG-AFTRA Foundation Talk
Following weeks of wearing show-stopping gowns on the “Wicked” press tour, Cynthia Erivo opted for a much more casual look at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Robin Williams Center in New York City last night.
The actress, who participated in a special conversation about the highly-anticipated film, donned a chic menswear look for the occasion. She wore a long black Thom Browne coat featuring a beaded trim on the lapels. Underneath, wore another coat, an olive green wool jacket that added a touch of contrast, and a classic white collared shirt buttoned up to the neck with a loose black skinny tie.
On the bottom, she styled slouchy black leather pants boasting silver zippers, cargo pockets, and buckles with pointy black leather ankle boots. Erivo’s boots were eye-catching Christian Louboutin style dubbed the “Womenphis Pic Booty.” Crafted in smooth Nappa leather, the model delivers a Western-inspired look thanks to a chunky silver buckle at the vamp and features bold silver metal spikes on the pointed toes and heel counters. The skinny, 3.9-inch stiletto heel coated in silver completes the statement look. You can pick up the exact boots for $4,995 on harrods.com.
Throughout the “Wicked” promotional tour, the Tony winner showcased a number of glamorous looks on and off the red carpet. Notably, she has been working with in-demand stylist Jason Bolden, whose other celebrity clients include Nicole Kidman, Kasey Musgraves, Gabrielle Union, and Cara Delevingne.
For the final premiere of “Wicked” in London on Nov. 18, Erivo once again paid homage to her role as Elphaba from the iconic Broadway production. She wore a fantastical design courtesy of Schiaparelli’s fall 2024 haute couture collection. The dramatic ensemble included a black ball gown, fingerless black velvet opera gloves, a velvet feathered cap, dazzling De Beers jewels, and black satin platform pumps.
