Minnesota Supreme Court considers transgender weightlifting lawsuit with wide-ranging implications

JayCee Cooper, a transgender woman from Minneapolis, was denied entry into a women’s USA Powerlifting competition in 2019. Her lawsuit claims discrimination in violation of the Minnesota Human Rights Act.
