Moment naked man is tasered while allegedly trying to hijack Uber car
A man trying to hijack a car naked is not a sight that many people behold every day.
But footage shown on social media shows 23-year-old Puhi Clark doing just that at a party spot in Perth.
It shows Clark running up to what is believed to be an Uber car and attempting to jump inside.
But quick-witted police officers are at the scene and they try to heave the man out of the vehicle as they taser him.
He manages to put up a good fight and even members of the public have to get involved to try and get him out.
Clark is also seen waving and thrusting out in frustration at police officers in anger so they decide to taser him a second time on the pavement.
He sticks his tongue out at other people passing by who witness the scene unfolding.
Clark was taken into custody where he was charged with one count each of disorderly behaviour in a public place, obstructing police officers, assault of a public officer, and attempting to steal a motor vehicle.
A female officer sustained minor injuries at the scene, police confirmed.
Clark attended Perth Magistrates Court on Sunday after spending the night in custody where prosecutors described his actions as bizarre.
He has been released on bail but will face his next court appearance on December 13.
He refused to comment when approached by journalists as he left the court.
